Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) — lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and forward-collision warning — rely on cameras and sensors that are often mounted to or aligned through your windshield. When a windshield is replaced, those cameras and sensors can shift by a fraction of a degree, which is enough to throw off a system that measures distances in feet and inches.

When Calibration Is Required

Once the static calibration is complete, some vehicles require a short dynamic calibration on the road to verify the systems under real conditions. We confirm every system is reading correctly before you leave.
