ADAS technology utilizes cameras and sensors that can automate certain functions, such as parallel parking, and it can also provide auditory, haptic, or visual feedback while you’re on the road that will alert you if you’re drifting out of your lane or if other vehicles are nearby. In order for ADAS systems to operate efficiently, the sensors need to be recalibrated a few times a year, or any time that the vehicle is involved in a collision.
